PLC Webinar Series

EdTech Specialists is starting up its next Webinar Series as follow up to the CBE/Personalization and PBL Series from previous years.  This year’s theme is PLC Webinars. The goal of the EdTech Specialists Webinar Series is to share expertise, experience, and energy around “students first” as we change the focus from what students are taught to ensuring that students learn. The recorded webinar schedule will be updated regularly. Should you have any questions or comments, please email Marsha at

February 13, 2019 9:00 am ET “People wait all week for Fridays, all year for Summer and their entire life for Happiness.” (Anonymous)

Even for the framers of our Constitution, happiness is preceded in importance only to health and freedom. Yet, in our K-12 educational system, there is little space for teaching students about happiness, or the skills that contribute to happiness. In our present context, there are more reasons than ever to consider ways to help students become happy, healthy and creative people…and it starts by making happiness and purpose a priority.

A former teacher, principal, and superintendent in Michigan, Mike Haynes now leads one of 12 educational service agencies in Wisconsin and serves 200+ districts in Wisconsin and Minnesota each year.
